    With the third issue of the popular city fair "DiINGFEST" the city of Dingolfing had another huge success. Thousands of visitors enjoyed music acts, watched movies or cheered for the German national football team at the watch parties.

    As full service marketing agency and being the creative partner for DiNGFEST 2014, monocom GmbH was responsible for concept, design and production of all marketing activities (poster, folder, ads, program table, website, social media, etc.) as well as media coverage and PR. In addition to that we acted as an advisor for the selection of musical acts. 18 bands, outdoor movies, events powered by BMW plant Dingolfing as well as showing the World Cup from Brazil - the DiNGFEST had it all.

    Cultural diversity of this year's program - from American psychedelic rock, Polish folk music to German electro-pop - was a big plus according to the visitors. Since the first issue four years ago, the DiNGFEST has experienced a steady growth and attracted more visitors year by year.

    The BMW i3 world premiere in New York, London and Beijing in July 2013 marked the start of a new era for the BMW Group. ‘Project i’ represents visionary electric vehicles and mobility services, inspiring design and a new understanding of ‘premium’ that is strongly defined by sustainability. And it thrills with its innovative vehicles: the all-electric BMW i3, a locally emission-free car for city driving that is sustainably designed throughout, and the BMW i8 as the most progressive sports car.

    BMW i is redefining personal mobility. Best advocates for enthusiasm about these innovative products are the workforce itself, therefore the BMW Group wanted to make the BMW i3 and the BMW i8 available for its employees of the production network with the help of a plant tour. Due to variable settings in each location the plant tour had to be planned modular, with fixed core elements and single flexible sections. monocom GmbH acted as lead agency and provided a concept and detailed specification for this plant tour. monocom was responsible for the didactical approach in room communication and the room- and exhibition concept, as well as controlling of the implementation. As a full service agency we were also able to provide an expert guide who presented the exhibition and was a valuable source of information with his background knowledge and enthusiasm for ‘Project i’.

    The BMW i plant tour turned out to be a big success that created a huge new fan base for the electric vehicles at BMW Group - monocom is pleased to have been part of this great experience.

    For the third consecutive time the city of Dingolfing in collaboration with the BMW plant Dingolfing and monocom GmbH will host a cultural festival for all its citizens and guests – free of charge: DiNGFEST 2014, from 3 through 13 July.

    monocom as a full service marketing agency and creative partner is repeatedly responsible for the development and design of all communication ­ online, classic, social­ media, film ­ for the DiNGFEST, as well as the coordination of public relations.

    2014 main acts include electro pop duo „Glasperlenspiel“, the fun metal band „J.B.O.“ and the gypsy musicians „Django 3000“ among many others. First class music acts, broadcasts of the soccer World Cup 2014 final matches, open air movies and entertainment for children – the DiNGFEST offers something for every taste.

    It’s not possible to imagine today’s society without voluntary work. Volunteers have an important role in social cooperation and deserve acknowledgement. Therefore the Sparkasse Regensburg endowed the “Citizen Award of the Sparkasse” in the year 2009, which honors voluntary projects of the region.

    The monocom team, which realized different projects with the Sparkasse Regensburg, values voluntary work, too. We managed the revision of the website, supported the registration process and supervised the Facebook-application for the voting process, to ensure a smooth course of the competition.

    The award show was held at the CinemaxX Regensburg on 19 November 2013. Altogether 25.000 Euro were awarded by the jury in the categories “Culture”, “Social” and “Sport”, as well as a special junior price. Additionally another winner of every category was awarded 500 Euro by online voting.

    We’re looking forward to continue our support of the Sparkasse Regensburg’s encouraging voluntary work.
